After several months of work and preparation, Ornavik is ready to welcome new visitors and history enthusiasts for the 2025 season.
Reopening Dates:
April 1, 2025 – Reopening for school groups
April 5, 2025 – Reopening to the general public
A Major New Addition: The Motte Castrale
This season marks an important milestone in the park's history with the construction of the motte castrale. This emblematic feature of ducal power will transport you to the heart of the 10th century, during the rise of Normandy under the rule of the first dukes. Come and explore this new space and experience history in a whole new way!
A Park in Constant Evolution
Throughout the winter, our volunteers have continued their work to enhance your experience:
- A new welcome area:
- The ticket office, shop, and crêperie have been redesigned to better serve you.
- The church's construction continues with new architectural challenges.
- The Langvin has been beautifully restored, ready to sail into this new season.
